Our first line today comes from Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, a book which I will admit I watched the film of first.
“When I think of my wife I always think of her head. The shape of it to begin with.”
An intriguing first line, you have to admit… Unfortunately, the surprise of the book was taken away by the fact I’d watched the film but I still really enjoyed this book.
