Hello guys and welcome back to another review for November! This is the second book of the month that I’ve read and I’m super excited to finally review this one… It’s Psycho by Robert Bloch.
Overall rating 4 out of 5 stars.
Psycho is a much shorter book than I would usually read, that being said, it had so much suspense packed into it, every chapter made me want to keep reading and keep turning the page.
The atmosphere that was created genuinely scared me.
Even though I’ve recently watched the film and knew the story I was still scared when Mary was murdered in the shower, and I still got shivers up my spine when they found Norma’s preserved body – I find scaring someone or shocking someone so much through a book is very hard to do as you’re relying on their imagination, but Psycho did this brilliantly.
I will definitely re-read this at some point in the future!
