📚Charity Shop Books📚

Aloha my wonderful followers! One of my goals for 2020 is to spend less money meaning more charity shop trips! When I was younger I would be mortified at the thought of telling someone my jumper was from the charity shop, or my bag was second hand, now I love it.

So, I’ve started to trawl charity shops for books. Anyone who reads my blog will know that other than the odd NetGalley review (more of those coming in 2020!) I’m not fussed about reading older books, or books that have been published for quite some time.

And during January I’ve spent £7.50 on books, all from the charity shop. And they are…

I’ve wanted to read The Woman in Black for so long and when I found it in St Giles Charity Shop I grabbed it and held onto it for dear life! And all of the others are just books that the title caught my eye and so I picked it up.

If I don’t enjoy any of these books (or any of my other physical copies) I will be donating them to a local charity shop, so that someone else can hopefully get some enjoyment from them aka create more space for more books.

Of course, I’ll still be buying new books from Waterstones and other bookshops, because there are some books I will want to read/new releases, and the smell of a new book is just 😍😍😍😍

I might make this into a monthly thing, sharing the books I brought or downloaded this month, I’m undecided! Let me know what you think or if you’d be interested in something like that.

Em xxx
