ANYWAY!
Today is a double review because the books I’m reviewing are the same just from different POV. Yep, I’m going to be reviewing Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster.
Beautiful Disaster – 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Walking Disaster – 3 out of 5 stars.
Let me start by saying these books are so far out of my usual reading patterns that I shocked even myself by reading them lmao.
The story itself was typically overdone, supposed good girl meets a bad boy, hopes she can change him and they end up getting together, there’s tears, there’s fighting, there’s typically college drama. Which for me was all very samey as other books I’d read when I was younger.
However, there were some twists (probably not the best word to use but I can’t think of another way to explain them!) that made it feel a bit more gritty and more adult than just your regular romance story.
The story was well written, it flowed, the characters were well developed, but I did have some small issues getting to grips with some of the characters (lookin at you Travis) and I downright hated some of them (Parker) but on the whole it was good. Average good though!
I wouldn’t rush to read it again but it certainly got rid of a few hours!
