Hey guys it’s Tuesday again, which means it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday – currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, TTT is a weekly post born out of a love of books and lists, and a want to bring us bookish people together.
Today’s topic is books I wish I read as a child, so without further introduction here are mine! P.S. I’m classing child right the way up to age 18…
1 – The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
2 – Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney.
3 – The Divergent series by Veronica Roth.
4 – Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
5 – Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld.
6 – Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison.
7 – Pretty Little Liars by Sara Sheppard (instead I settled for the TV series lmao).
I could only think of these 7, I actually read a lot of the books and book series that I wanted to read when I was younger, there are only this select few that I feel I missed out on reading when I was a teenager/young adult. I would add them to my TBR list but I don’t think they’d hold the same enjoyment as when I was younger.
Be sure to let me know if you’re taking part in TTT and I’ll come check out your post!
Em xxx
Finally someone who doesn’t hate Lord of the Flies 😀 I read it only a few weeks back and I wish I’d picked it up earlier.
