Hi friends, it’s my songs I think fit with book characters post today!

This one will be my last one before the new year as I’m taking a small break from posting content, and it also marks the end of my Harry Potter section of this series. In the new year I’ll be back with a brand new set of characters. ANYWAY, we’re going out with a bang, it’s Ginny Weasley.

Small note to say that these song choices are based on book Ginny as we can all agree she was done so dirty in the films…

First up we have We Belong Together by Mariah Carey. This one is just purely based on the song title and would absolutely be what Ginny thinks about Harry!

Next we have I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry. Idk what it is, I just feel like Ginny is bisexual and this song is absolutely something she would do.

Lastly, we have Waterloo by Abba. Now don’t ask me what possessed me to pick this song, just something about it gave me real Ginny vibes, I cannot tell you what it is but I just get visions of her blasting this song and absolutely loving it.

Hi friends, it’s my songs I think fit with book characters post today!

This one is for one of my all time bestest ever book characters that I absolutely wanted to be when I was younger and that I’m super excited to write about! Today’s character is Hermione Granger.

First up we have Gorgeous by Taylor Swift. There isn’t any particular reason why I chose this song, I just felt like it fit Hermione’s vibes!

Then I picked Girlfriend by Avril Lavinge. Like if this song was out at the time Ron was dating Lav-Lav you CANNOT tell me that Hermione wouldn’t be obsessed with it.

And finally we have Don’t Call Me Angel by Ariana Grande, Miley Cryus and Lana Del Ray. This one just screams Hermione, it’s such a badass feeling song and definitely one that I think fits her perfectly.

Today’s choice of book character is a personal favourite of mine and one that I would HAPPILY spend hours selecting the perfect gif for… It’s Draco Malfoy.

Firstly we have Break Up With Your Girlfriend I’m bored by Ariana Grande, this song just screams Draco to me, like he honestly is the type to say this to someone.

Then we have That’s What I Like by Bruno Mars, again this song just reminds me so much of him. And whilst I do love Bruno Mars this song gives me kinda spoiled vibes, which Draco definitely gives me!

And here is my personal favourite, noteable lyric included for the LOLS.

18 by Anarbor – “if you wanna piss off your parents, date me to scare them, show them you’re all grown up” just is Draco all over. I want to date him even if it’s not to piss off my parents, like PLEASE just ruin my life I’m begging.

Hi friends, it’s my songs I think fit with book characters post today!

Today’s choice of character is none other than Harry Potter! I had the most fun picking out these songs and I actually had a lil giggle to myself for some of them, so I hope you enjoy them.

First of all, and we have my FAVOURITE one first, is Die Young by Ke$ha. I’M SORRY OKAY, but the title of the song just fits perfectly considering ya know, Voldy is trying to kill him literally every year of his teenage life.

Next up we have Crazy Train by Ozzy Osborne. This song just screams Harry, how his poor life is absolute chaos, which so is this song TBH.

Lastly, we have Under Pressure by Queen. I mean, he’s constantly under pressure and also screaming for help from his friends so it fits perfectly!

Hi friends, it’s my songs I think fit with book characters post today!

Today’s book character of choice is Ron Weasley! I actually picked a few songs for Ron, which all relate to different points in his ✨journey✨ in the books.

First we have Should I Stay or Should I go by The Clash, which directly relates to his argument with Harry & Hermione when he abandons them in the 7th book (still hate you for that Ronald!)

And secondly we have, Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers, thinking about how he is with Hermione, just the whole song gives me Ron pining for her vibes.

Lastly, and this is quite a specific one… We have I Want To Break Free by Queen. It just reminds me of when Lav-Lav is ALL over him and like I’m pretty sure he wants her gone because he is so in love with Hermione, so yes.

Hi friends, it’s my songs I think fit with book characters post today! (This is actually my first post of this series sooooooo!)

Today’s choice of book character is actually a duo… It’s the Weasley twins! Two of my all time favourite characters from the series, they just bring so much joy to my life and I had such a blast picking the songs for them, I can’t lie…

First up we have I’m Only Me When I’m With You by Taylor Swift. And I mean this choice very literally, they’re twins, they complete each other, they are only themselves when they are together.

A new series coming to my blog?!

Hi everyone!

This is going to be a new thing on my blog that actually came to me while I was washing my hair, all the best ideas come when you’re in the shower though, right?!

How long I stick with this purely depends on how many ideas I have and the general reception to it, so without sounding like a huge beg, if you enjoy this post pls leave me a comment because I LIVE FOR THAT 🙂

ANYWAY! The idea is this… I will be selecting random fictional characters, from books and pairing them with a song (that I feel fits them) from one of my MANY Spotify playlists.

I will be sharing a photo or GIF of the character in question, to set the scene, their matching song, a notable lyric (if applicable) and (and this is the BEST PART) a link to my shitty playlist so you too can see what kind of TRASH FIRE I am listening to, should you so wish.

I’m hoping to get this up on a regular posting schedule, so it may be that it’s twice a month or something?! Just to ensure I give myself time to create the content and get everything together. I’m hoping to start mid September, so we’ll see how that goes!

Hopefully, this is something that I can stick with and inspiration sticks around!
