Christmas Wishes Come True, Jessica Coulter Smith – A Review.

Hello friends! I’m here again with another festive review for you all, still playing catch up on my Christmas books!

Christmas Wishes Come True by Jessica Coulter Smith.

Overall rating ❄️ out of 5 snowflakes.

I have huge issues with this book, hence my 1 star rating, I’m trying to be constructive writing this review but I have SO MANY ISSUES.

The title of this book suggests Christmas, in actual fact all we got was sex with a bit of Christmas shopping thrown in and two adults who can’t communicate…

The entire time I was reading Christmas Wishes Come True I was just annoyed and frustrated, there wasn’t much of a plot, and what was written as story (not sex, I’ll get to that bit later) didn’t make much sense.

Now the sex scenes certainly didn’t leave anything to be desired and were the only parts of this story that I actually enjoyed – it’s just a shame they seemed to take up the majority of the book leaving not much room for a story to filter through.

I felt highly uncomfortable reading this book, there was a heavy implication that Elise needed the approval of a man.

As the plot focused on this approval of a man trope I was easily bored and frustrated with how the book was progressing, and allowed Nathan to treat Elise like property, like no this is the 21st century we do not allow that…

Christmas Wishes Come True showcased everything that is wrong with relationships, with decent sex scenes and absolutely no Christmas vibes whatsoever. It was just a real disappointment.

Let me know if you’ve read Christmas Wishes Come True and what you thought!
