Woop woop I am back with another First Line Friday and this time I will be sharing with you the first line of one of my all-time favourite childhood books.
It’s The BFG by Roald Dahl!Â
“Sophie couldn’t sleep. A brilliant moonbeam was slanting through a gap in the curtains. It was shining right on her pillow”
I could recite this book pretty much word for word but will that stop me reading it? NO, the pages are literally falling out but it’s part of the collection I have of Roald Dahl books so I can’t replace it 😦
