Top Ten Tuesday – Books written before I was born.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This weeks topic is books written before I was born, which was in 1995. I’m going to try and do this from just books on my shelf so we’ll see how many I have!

I actually have about 15 books on my shelf that were written or published before I was born but I narrowed it down to these 10.

Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Published 1921.

The Supernatural Omnibus. Published 1931.

The Creeps Omnibus. Published 1935.

Lord Halifax’s Ghost Book. Published 1939.

Red Dragon by Thomas Harris. Published 1982.

The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. Published 1982.

The Turn of The Screw by Henry James. Published 1991.

Nightmares and Dreamscapes by Stephen King. Published 1993.

And then my final two are Crimes, Creeps and Chills and A Century of Creepy Stories. These two don’t have a published date in the book but I’m going to say around the 1930s as they’re very similar to the other ghost books I have.

There you have it, 10 books from before I was born in 1995! Let me know if you’re taking part in Top Ten Tuesday so I can check out your post too.
