📚The “I should have read that” Book Tag📚

Hey guys, and welcome to a book tag on What Em’s Reading! I found this particular one on Pinterest and I was SO excited to do it, so here we goooo…

A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read. One of my friends had been pestering me for AGES to read The Woman in Black, mainly because she had read it and got totally freaked out so wanted to see if I had the same reaction :)))

A book that has been on your TBR forever and you still haven’t picked it up. Okay, I feel attacked by this question! Definitely The Green Mile by Stephen King, it’s like an OG book that has been on my list since I started this blog.

A book in a series you’ve started by haven’t got round to finishing yet. I don’t really have any of these at the moment, I’m reading a lot of standalone books.

A classic you’ve always liked the sound of but never read. Most of them??? I’m so bad at reading classics, I’m always really keen but then I end up picking up something else!

A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read. The Fault in our Stars, I’ve never read this and I don’t think I want to either, but when it first came out the world and it’s mother had read it…

A book that inspired a film/tv adaptation that you really loved but just haven’t read yet. Dr Sleep by Stephen King, I think I skim read this about 10 years ago so I need to properly read it.

A book you see all over Instagram but still haven’t read. I don’t use Instagram for books, I find it quite a toxic place to be so I just tootle along at my own pace and read what I wanna read!

Ahhh this tag was so much fun to do, I’m so glad I found it on Pinterest! Let me know what your answers might be in the comments.

    1. I used to have an Instagram just for my books but it just didn’t seem supportive at all! Maybe if I went back now and actually made an effort to follow those I would interact with it it would be a better place!

      1. Yeah, unfortunately social media can be a toxic place but from personal experience I’ve found Instagram to be great. There are lots of really nice and supportive people in the bookstagram community 😊
